In the beginning of the episode, Meredith picks up a post-it note from Richard's back which proves her point that Adele's condition is getting worse. After an Alzheimer's patient backed down from the trial because he had heart problems, Meredith has the idea to put Adele in the trial. After Adele decided yes Meredith being a bad ass that she is, she went into the pharmacy room and made sure that Adele got the placebo. (Which let me tell you I still don't understand).

Alex saw what Meredith was doing but didn't know exactly what she was doing. Meredith and the gang then helps Callie out so she can see her baby, why Meredith we know it hurts her! We all know that Alex is bringing African babies and the one that Meredith is assigned to is cute! We don't get to see much of Derek in the episode (what's new? Like seriously lets create a petition) besides in the surgery!

In the next episode we see Derek ask Meredith that burning question of if she wants to adopt the baby!! What do you think Mer will answer? Comment!!!!!!!!!!!
